Metal Tube Rotameter

It uses magnetic sensor and chip process technology, which allows the LED to express by instantaneous flow, accumulated flow, and percentage flow, and also provides two – wire current signals output 4 – 20 mA, compatible with HART communication protocol. Equipped with the indicator and alarm switch on the set – point, VRHF-25 Metal Tube Float Flowmeter gives high precession indicating and alarm signals output.
Measuring Principle
As shown in the figures below, the medium is to be intercepted while flowing through the measuring tapered tube. Instantly a pressure difference the force “A” caused by the flow of the medium, occurs, which drives the magnetic float moving up and down. The position of the magnetic float varies with the flow area of the measuring tapered tube. So we have:
G=A+F+W
A: pressure difference, the force caused by the flow of medium acting on the magnetic float.
G: float gravity
F: buoyancy
W: resisting force (magnetic coupling stress, damping resistance).
During the process of achieving equilibrium, the two magnetic fields of the float and the pointer magnetic steel are coupling causes the pointer to rotate. The flow value can be read from the pointer at a scale.
